Fitness and conditioning are aimed at maintaining and maximizing strength, endurance, flexibility, coordination, and cardiovascular health. Sport-specific conditioning may improve performance and help prevent injury. Puppies can improve their coordination, confidence, and mental focus within a safe and controlled environment.
Is a Veterinarian’s referral required?
No. However, it’s recommended that your dog had a physical exam (within the last 6 months) by your Veterinarian to ensure they are in good health prior to starting a fitness program. The Therapist conduct a full fitness evaluation prior to beginning the program. If at any time during a fitness program the Therapist observes any physical limitations the sessions may be suspended until your Veterinarian confirms that it is safe to resume.
