Fitness & Conditioning

Fitness and Conditioning

Fitness and conditioning is aimed at maintaining and maximizing strength, endurance, flexibility, coordination and cardiovascular health. Sport specific conditioning may improve performance and help prevent injury. Puppies can improve their coordination, confidence, and mental focus within a safe and controlled environment.

Is a Veterinarian’s referral required?

No. However, it’s recommended that your dog had a physical exam (within the last 6 months) by your Veterinarian to ensure they are in good health prior to starting a fitness program. The Therapist conduct a full fitness evaluation prior to beginning the program. If at any time during a fitness program the Therapist observes any physical limitations the sessions may be suspended until your Veterinarian confirms that it is safe to resume.
